9DAYS/8NIGHTS YANGON-BAGAN-MANDALAY-INLE LAKE- YANGON

Day 1.  YANGON ARRIVAL  (-/-/-)                        

Arrive at Yangon International Airport by (pm flight) & transfer to your hotel. The sightseeing tour starts to SHWEDAGON PAGODA in the evening.  (Lunch and dinner will be to your own account.)

Overnight stay at Hotel, in Yangon.

Day 2.  YANGON SIGHTSEEING & NIGHT BUS to MANDALAY  (B/-/-)            

Breakfast at Hotel, visit to BOTATHAUNG PAGODA, located close to Yangon River. Then drive through the  colonial style buildings downtown, the Chinatown area and the Indian quarter. Stop at the gilded SULE PAGODA, dating back over 2,000 years. The better alternative for one stop shop is BOGYOKE (SCOTTS) MARKET (closed on Public Holidays and Mondays). This multi-storey market more than 2,000 stores selling clothes and accessories, Gold, gems and jewellery, and painting. Check out from your hotel.

In the afternoon, sightseeing will be started to CHAUK HTAT GYI, a huge reclining Buddha image. In the afternoon, proceed to KARAWEIK HALL, a Royal floating barge on a lake.

In the evening, transfer to High Way Bus station for driving to MANDALAY by Express Bus (09:00pm).

Day 3. AMARAPURA- MANDALAY   (B/-/-)

On arrival to Mandalay (06:00am), pick  you up at Bus station, and breakfast will be served at local Tea shop.

Excursion to AMARAPURA, 15 km from Mandalay to visit MAHAGANDAYON MONASTERY, famous for Buddhist  learning center. Visit to to U BEIN teak bridge, over 150 years old. Transfer to your hotel for check in.

In the afternoon, continue to Mahamuni Pagoda with its spectacular Buddha image covered with thick layers of gold leaves, and a visit to a craftsman’s workshop to see Kalaga tapestries being created.

Visit MYANANSANKYAW PALACE; built by King Mindon and SHWE NAN DAW KYAUNG (or Golden Palace Monastery), KUTHODAW PAGODAS with 729 stone tablets (known as World’s Biggest Book).

In the evening, drive up to MANDALAY HILL for panoramic view of Mandalay City.

Lunch and dinner will be to your own account. Overnight stay at Hotel, in Mandalay.

Day 4. MANDALAY –PYIN OO LWIN- MANDALAY      (B/-/-)

Breakfast at Hotel, drive up to the pretty little hill station known as PYIN OO LWIN, 67 km east of Mandalay, was established by the British as a cool retreat from the heat of the central Myanmar plains. Explore the local market by traditional horse cart in the downtown. Visit KANDAWGYI NATIOANL BOTANICAL GARDEN, and PWE KAUK WATER FALL.  In the evening, drive back to Mandalay and transfer to your hotel.

Lunch and dinner will be to your own account. Overnight stay at Hotel, in Mandalay.

Day 5.  MANDALAY-BAGAN by RV SHWE KEINNERY DAY CRUISE

After breakfast at Hotel, transfer to Mandalay Jetty for RV SHWE KEINNERY CRUISE to BAGAN (07:00am-05:00pm). On arrival at Bagan, transfer to your hotel.  (Cruise ticket is including lunch on board)

(Dinner will be to your own account.) Overnight stay at Hotel, in Bagan.

Day 6. BAGAN   (B/-/-)

Breakfast at Hotel, visit on a sightseeing tour, starting with a NyaungOo local market, SHWEZIGON PAGODA, a  prototype of real Myanmar stupa, built in 1087. Wetgyiin GU BYAUK GYI for its famous Jataka mural painting and HTILOMINLO TEMPLE for its plaster carvings and famous ANADA TEMPLE, with its four huge standing-Buddha images.

In the afternoon, we visit the lacquer workshop in New Bagan. Sightseeing continues with visits to MANUHA TEMPLE, built in mon style in 1059, DAMAYANGYI TEMPLE and SULAMANI TEMPLE.

Enjoy sunset from the terraces of SHWESANDA PAGODA.

Lunch and dinner will be to your own account. Overnight stay at Hotel, in Bagan.

Day 7.  BAGAN – MT. POPA- INLE LAKE BY PRIVATE CAR   (B/-/-)                                                                      

After breakfast at Hotel, 2hr drive and visit to MOUNT POPA , 730- meter high of Popa Taungkalat, an extinct  volcano with a shrine dedicated to animist spirits known as “Nats”. To reach the top of the volcanic plug with its many shrines and a monastery, one has to climb up 700 steep steps. You will enjoy the extraordinary panoramic view of the surrounding landscape.

In the afternoon, continue drive to Heho –Nyaung Shwe (Inle lake) for 6hour land tour.

On arrival , transfer to your hotel. (Lunch and dinner will be to your own account.)

Overnight stay at Hotel, in Nyaung Shwe, main jetty  town of Inle lake.

Day 8.  INLE LAKE- INDEINN SIGHTSEEING     (B/-/-)                 

After breakfast at Hotel, excursion by boat on the lake will include sights of the famous leg-rowers, typical floating  gardens, local method of fishing and village life. Visitthe famous PHAUNG DAW OO PAGODA and INPAWKON VILLAGE for its traditional silk weaving, Nan Pan village for its charoot making, black smith and boat making.

In the afternoon, visit to INDEIN PAGODA complex, which is situated on the western bank of Inle Lake. The group of pagodas is built by Pa-O tribes. Visit one of the most amazing historical sights of Shan state consisting of hundreds of small stupasovergrown by moss and vegetation.

Overnight stay at Hotel, in Nyaung Shwe, at the bank of Inle lake.

Day 9. HEHO-YANGON & DEPARTURE    (B/-/-)    

After breakfast, transfer to Heho airport for domestic flight to YANGON (approx: 10:00-11:05). Upon arrival, In the afternoon, (14:30) transfer to Yangon airport for your international departure flight (17:35 & later, evening flight).
