BUDDHIST PILGRIMAGE TOUR + TAJ MAHAL (10 NIGHTS / 12 DAYS)
(Delhi – Varanasi – Bodhgaya – Nalanda – Rajgir - Kushinagar – Lumbini – Srasvati – Lucknow – Agra– Delhi – out)

Day 01: Arrive Delhi

Upon arrival meeting at New Delhi International airport, welcome and assistances then transfer to Hotel. Overnight in a hotel at Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi/ Varanasi  (By Flight)

After breakfast departure transfer to the Airport to board the flight to Varanasi. Upon arrival meeting at the Airport and transfer to Hotel. Enroute visit Sarnath. On arrival check-into Hotel. Evening attend Aarti ceremony on the Ghats.

Day 03: Varanasi

Early morning Boat Ride on River Ganges by Sunrise. Later back to Hotel for breakfast. Post breakfast visit Banaras Hindu university and temples.

Day 04: Varanasi – Bodhgaya (Distance 255 kms, 6 hours drive approx)

After breakfast leave for Bodhgaya. Upon arrival check-in into hotel. Pm visit International Temples.

Day 05: Bodhgaya

After breakfast full day at Bodhgaya. Proceed for visiting Mahabodhi Temple, Sujata Village, Niranjana river, 80 feet high lord Buddha Statue & Various international monasteries.

Day 06: Bodhgaya – Rajgir – Nalanda – Patna

After Breakfast drive to Rajgir, It was one of the oldest Universities of the World & International Centre for Buddhist Studies Rajgir (70 Kms), visit Gridhkutta (Vulture‘s peak), World Peace Stupa, Venuvanaram & Bimbisar Prison. After lunch drive to Nalanda (15 kms) to visit the ruins of world ancient University. After visit drive continue to Patna. On arrival check in at hotel.

Day 07: Patna – Vaishali – Kushinagar (Distance 225 kms, 6 hours drive approx)

After early breakfast drive to Kushinagar (approx 260 Kms / 7 Hrs) Enroute visiting Vaishali. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 08: Kushinagar – Lumbini (Distance 140 kms, 4 hours drive approx)

Breakfast at hotel. Proceed for visiting Mahaparinirvana Temple (where Buddha took his last breathe) and Rambhar Stupa (cremation site of lord Buddha) and Japan Temple. Back hotel for Lunch. After lunch drive (170 kms / approx 04 hrs drive) to Lumbini (in Nepal). Kindly obtain double entry visa for India & single entry visa for Nepal). On arrival, check in at hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel in Lumbini.

Day 09: Lumbini – Sravasti (Distance 210 kms, 6 hours drive approx)

Breakfast at hotel. Morning visit the After then visit the Holy Birth place of Lord Buddha. Early Lunch and drive to Saravasti (180 kms). Enroute visit Kapilvastu (10 kms). On arrival check in at hotel. Dinner & overnight in at hotel.

Day 10: Sravasti – Lucknow (Distance 175 kms, 4 hours drive approx)

After breakfast leave for Lucknow. Upon arrival check in into Hotel. Afternoon visit Bara Imambara and Chhota Imambara. Both are imposing monuments with great historical significance.

Day 11: Lucknow

After breakfast explore the city and the attractions it holds, Lucknow is an interesting place with great things to offer. The structures in the city showcase the fine blend of Indo-Islamic and colonial era. Visit some sites like: Dilkusha Garden, Shah Najaf, Ram Krishna Math, Moti Mahal, La Martiniere, Chattra Manzil, also visit the old city in the evening. Spend some time indulging into shopping and trying out some ethnic dishes.

Day 12: Lucknow – Agra (Distance 340 kms, 4 hours 30 minutes drive approx)

After Breakfast leave for Agra. On arrival check-in into hotel. Afternoon visit Agra fort – – the rusty and majestic red- sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566.

Day 13: Agra – Delhi (Distance 220 kms, 4 hours drive approx)

Early morning visit Taj Mahal by sunrise (closed on every Friday) built by Mughal Emperor Shah- Jehan for his Empress Mumtaj Mahal. The construction believed to have taken 22 years to complete with over 20,000 craftsman working round the clock.

After visit back to Hotel for Breakfast. Later leave for Delhi.  On Route visit Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri is a small city in northern India, just west of Agra, founded by a 16th-century Mughal emperor. Red sandstone buildings cluster at its center. Buland Darwaza gate is the entrance to Jama Masjid mosque. Nearby is the marble Tomb of Salim Chishti. Diwan-E-Khas hall has a carved central pillar. Jodha Bais Palace is a mix of Hindu and Mughal styles, next to the 5-story Panch Mahal that overlooks the site.

On arrival at Delhi, transfer to International airport to catch the flight for onwards destination.

Day 14: Depart

Take off flight & arrive Home Country with sweet memory.
